Module Ideas!!!

Hey guys,
No I'm not doing modules on the Downtown Spur (but the idea may come along much later) I'm brain storming on weather to create some modules based on the Hershey, PA area. Go look for my blog about it!

I've decided not to model the CSX Downtown spur completly. So, you get it.

Test Layout

Dern I guess I double posted sort of. I would like to say. I am at a problem. I am thinking about modeling Norfolk Southern's Somerset branch in western Pennsylvania. But to find out what I want to model. I am going to be taking a 4'5" by 3' something. I want to model the Norfolk Southern Railway on one half and CSX downtown spur on the other.

Construction

I planned where I will be doing construction for the year 2009 and 2010.

I have now drawn out the section of work I will be working for the years of 2009 and 2010.

Problems with track planning

After taking a trip to the spare bedroom, I have discovered that the room is a little smaller that originaly thought. The door on the left side of the drawing, is much smaller than in the drawings. So, I have to re-design a whole new template for the room, thus, making the first two drafts of the Downtown spur, unusable.

Trackplan: First Draft

As of now, the layout is in the planning stages. I am, with the help of Lance Mindheim, am working on a plan. The track plan isn't to scale, or will it be a final one. I, with the small spare bedroom, don't have the space to model all of the Downtown spur, I will not be able to model three industries, Antillean Marine, Miami Iron & Metal, and FP&T. Here's the track plan.

Unmarked spurs are abandoned, with the exeption of the spur that is near Sun Gas, which I belive is apart of the industry.
